Shipping policy

Laura Wnuk ships within the EU via DHL and always provides a tracking number. For international shipping, please send an email before placing your order.
Currently, no express shipping is offered in order to keep costs reasonable for customers.

Delivery times are approximately:

• 3 working days within Germany
• 10 days within E.U.
• 12 to 15 days to the U.S.
• 2 to 3 weeks for other international destinations

The delivery times mentioned are estimates and may be subject to external factors, such as customs processing or force majeure.
All orders are carefully packed and shipped via a tracked service. Until the package is delivered to the customer, the risk of loss or damage remains with Laura Wnuk (§ 475 BGB). In the unlikely event of damage during transit, Laura Wnuk will take full responsibility upon receiving clear photographic evidence, provided immediately upon delivery. In case of loss or damage, we will also assist you in filing a claim with the carrier.
Please note that occasional customs inspections may delay delivery and tracking updates. Rare, loss or theft can unfortunately occur during transit. If an order does not arrive within a reasonable time frame, please contact Laura Wnuk. Depending on the circumstances, a replacement or refund may be issued.

Accepted payment methods include PayPal and Credit Card. Additional fees may apply depending on the payment provider. As a small business under § 19 UStG, no VAT is charged. (or, if applicable: All prices include the applicable VAT rate.)

Customers are responsible for checking potential customs fees before purchasing. Laura Wnuk is not liable for any additional charges incurred upon entry into the destination country.

1. Made-to-Order Products – No Right of Withdrawal
All made-to-order creations are exempt from the right of withdrawal under Section 312g (2) No. 1 BGB (German Civil Code). These pieces are crafted exclusively upon request, making returns and refunds not possible, except in cases covered by statutory warranty.

2. Unique, Pre-Made Products – 14-Day Withdrawal Right

If a product is already crafted and in stock, the buyer has the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving the item, in accordance with European law.

To request a return or repair for an eligible item purchased from Laura Wnuk, please follow these steps:
– Send an email to laurawnuk.studio [ @ ] gmail.com with your order number, clear photos of the item, and a description of the issue.
– Returns of unused items in their original packaging are accepted for a refund within 14 days of the delivery date.
– Shipping charges are non-refundable. Return shipping costs are borne by the customer unless the item is defective or an incorrect product was received.
– For a smooth process, please ship returns within 5 business days of authorization. Delayed returns may be refused.
– Tracking details and proof of deposit must be provided for all returns. Customers are responsible for ensuring that the item reaches Laura Wnuk safely. Laura Wnuk cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged returns in transit.

3. Statutory Warranty
If a product is defective, statutory warranty rights apply.
The buyer must report any issues immediately in writing to Laura Wnuk and the shipping carrier. Please provide clear pictures of the issue, including pictures of the packaging (may it be damaged or not).

4. Handmade Product Characteristics
Slight variations in color, texture, or finish are inherent to artisanal creations and do not constitute a defect.

Laura Wnuk offers repairs exclusively for metal components (chains, rings, pins).
Due to the artisanal nature of each creation, broken ceramic pieces cannot be repaired but may be replaced.

As every piece is handcrafted, replacements require time and meticulous attention.

Laura Wnuk’s creations are delicate works of art and are not toys. They are not intended for children under 36 months.

Each piece is uniquely handcrafted, resulting in subtle variations that enhance its singularity. While ceramic is remarkably durable, it remains a refined material —please refer to the enclosed care instructions to preserve its integrity.

Before Shipping
As orders are processed swiftly, cancellation is only possible within 48 hours of placing the order. Requests must be sent via email to laurawnuk.studio [ @ ] gmail.com. Beyond this timeframe, production begins, and no further changes can be made.

After Shipping
Laura Wnuk ensures that all products meet high-quality standards.
For unique, pre-made items, returns are possible within the legal withdrawal period. However, made-to-order items such as sculptural handbags and artist books are non-returnable and non-refundable.

Revocation Right for Consumers
(A “consumer” refers to any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that cannot predominantly be attributed to either their commercial or independent professional activities.)

Instructions for Revocation

Right of Revocation
Consumers have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without providing any justification except for made-to-order items such as sculptural handbags and artist books. The revocation period begins on the day the consumer—or a third party designated by them, other than the carrier—takes physical possession of the product.

Exclusion of the Right of Revocation
The right of revocation does not apply to contracts for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and that are manufactured based on an individual choice or decision by the consumer, or which are clearly tailored to the consumer’s personal needs. This includes all sculptural handbags and artist books made to order.

For all other unique, pre-made items, to exercise the right of revocation, the consumer must notify Laura Wnuk in a clear written declaration via email to laurawnuk.studio [ @ ] gmail.com within the 14-day period.

Only returns of unworn merchandise, in its original packaging, and in perfect condition will be eligible for a refund. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

A return shipment must include:
• A tracking number
• Proof of deposit

Customers must retain proof of shipment until the refund is received, as they bear the burden of proof for the return.

To comply with the revocation period, it is sufficient to send the withdrawal request before the 14-day deadline. Returns cannot be accepted beyond the 14-day period.

Consequences of Revocation
If a contract is revoked within the legal timeframe, Laura Wnuk will refund all payments received, including the cost of standard shipping. However, additional costs for express shipping will not be refunded. + rajou d’un bon d’achat ? → A full refund will be issued via the original payment method. Alternatively, customers may choose to receive a store credit instead.
Refunds will be issued using the original payment method. Laura Wnuk reserves the right to withhold reimbursement until the returned item has been received and verified.

The consumer is responsible for returning the item within 14 days from the date of the withdrawal request. The return deadline is met if the product is dispatched before the 14-day expiration.
The consumer bears the direct cost of returning the product.
If the returned item shows signs of use beyond what is necessary to examine its condition and functionality, a partial refund may apply in proportion to the depreciation in value.

Exemptions & Exclusions
The right of revocation does not apply to the following:

1- Non-Refundable Items
• Made-to-order or custom-made pieces
• Perishable goods
• Digital content that has been downloaded or accessed
2- Premature Expiry of Revocation Right
3- The right of revocation expires prematurely for:
• Sealed goods that cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed
• Items that have been mixed with other goods after delivery and cannot be separated
• Sealed audio, video recordings, or software if the seal has been broken after delivery
